About Casino Stay Review

Casino Stay Review is independent and unofficial. It explains how selected hotels relate to on-site or connected casinos; it does not sell rooms, gambling or placement.

Why this guide exists

The phrase “casino hotel” is often used loosely. A hotel might contain a casino, share a resort, sit on the same arena campus or simply be near a standalone venue. Those are different travel experiences. Our purpose is to identify the relationship in plain language so a reader can make an informed plan.

The initial region is Tyne and Wear, where no qualifying on-site casino hotels were verified. The four named casinos are standalone. The editorially honest response is to state that fact, then widen to verified examples elsewhere in England for travellers prepared to make the journey.

What independence means here

Nobody paid to appear in this edition. The order reflects hotel–casino integration strength and is not an official ranking. We are not affiliated with Genting, Grosvenor, the hotels, Marriott, Hilton, Criterion Hospitality, Coventry Building Society Arena, the Gambling Commission or support organisations linked on the site.

Outbound links are provided as sources and practical routes to official information. A link is not an endorsement. We do not handle reservations, deposits, loyalty accounts, casino membership or customer service enquiries for any venue.

Editorial boundaries

We avoid invented room counts, prices, hours, game lists, licence account numbers and amenities. The one room count included — 121 bedrooms at the DoubleTree Coventry arena site — is attributed to the supplied official arena context. Details likely to change are left to official sources.

Photography is labelled carefully. Venue and neighbourhood images use Wikimedia Commons material with recorded licences. Decorative atmosphere images are original illustrations, explicitly not photographs of the venues. Information was last checked on 4 September 2026.

Adults only where gambling occurs

Casino gambling areas are 18+. A hotel may have public spaces used by families, conference guests and other visitors, but that does not alter casino age restrictions or admission policies. Gambling involves risk; support is available on our responsible gambling page.
